By placing an order with Ayton Print you are accepting our terms and conditions.
Please make sure any attached proof copies are checked thoroughly for spelling errors, number errors, or errors in design and layout. Any mistakes in text or images untraced before printing will be your responsibility and there will be a charge for re-printing.
Price Variation - Prices shown on this website are based on current prices and are subject to change at anytime without notice.
Colour Variation - There will be a difference in colour between litho and digitally printed work. In spite of the most modern printing machines, there may be slight colour deviations. The print result is dependent on very many factors, including the character of the paper of individual manufacturers e.g. the degree of whiteness, the grain direction and/or whether it is gloss or matt; climatic conditions at the printing site, such as temperature and air humidity. Should colour deviations within the tolerance range arise for reasons of this sort, then due to the way our system works – the fullest use to capacity of our forms and machines – this will not constitute a reason for complaint.
Delivery - We will always attempt to dispatch your product when agreed. There will be additional charges for delivery outside the UK Mainland, and may be additional charges if you are unable to accept the parcel when it is delivered by our courier service.
Our standard postal charge is FREE. Additional charges may apply to Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands. These additional costs are beyond our control. A total cost will be available before we commence printing. We can not be held responsible for Royal Mail delays.
Artwork - Our artwork service includes 1 low resolution JPG / PDF proof copy before printing, we will then make alterations to this sample until you are happy with the artwork. Further artwork samples are available at an addition cost. We do not supply finished artwork in high resolution PDF format.
Our charge for artwork is £15.00 per item. Repeat orders without alterations do not incur this charge. If you are supplying print ready artwork there is no charge for artwork. We will send you a low resolution pdf prior to printing. Please make sure there are no spelling errors and all contact details are correct.
We do not accept any responsibility for any errors found after printing your own artwork. (Please read our artwork guide - here)
Bleed - Please add an additional 3mm bleed area to all artwork which bleeds off the cutting area.
"Working days" means Monday to Friday, excluding Bank or other Public Holidays.
We guarantee that the Goods will correspond to the description given via the Website and/or over the phone.
All products we print/produce/sell are custom made and it is not practical to publish detailed specifications of all the products.
All images, descriptive matter, specifications and advertising are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods.
We are pleased to accept major Credit and Debit Cards via Nochex &Paypal secure checkouts. Cheque payments as a payment method can be chosen at the time of the order. BACS payments are also acceptable - call 01642 983525 to arrange this payment method.
Payment by phone is also accepted. After placing your order call 0800 7720966 or 01642 983525 and we can take your payment.
When paying by Cheque please allow additional 10 working days for handling and clearing process. Once we receive cleared funds on our account we start the process.
We only accept GBP (Sterling) payments. You must be over 18 years of age to place an order.
All orders require payment at the time they are placed (if paying by Card) or within 5 working days (if paying by cheque) after order is placed.
If the order remains unpaid for 10 working days it will be automatically deleted.
You can supply us with artwork in following ways:
- Send by an e-mail using our artwork upload form here. (Please include the order reference number). Each email cannot be bigger than 10MB otherwise it will be rejected by our spam filters.
- Send via Dropbox™ and forward the relevent link.
- Copy to a CD and posted to us, please include the order reference number.
Upon sight of artwork and at its sole discretion, Ayton Print reserves the right to decline to print any item it deems to be inappropriate. Any payments made for work rejected by reason of this clause will be refunded in full.
We do not return any media sent to us containing artwork so please remember to send us copies that you don't need returning or enclose SAE (Self-addressed envelope).
We will do our best to match colours as they appear on digital proof although we are not liable for the final colours appearance. Slight differences (up to 20% in CMYK value) in colour may occur and we cannot take responsibility for that.
We offer 1-3 Working days delivery service meaning that Goods are delivered within up to three Working days from our printing house to the customer. It does not include production time - for Turnaround time please check Good's description or contact us. if they are not listed. On most of the products Turnaround is 3 - 5 Working days.
Goods may be delivered in instalments unless otherwise agreed. If the Customer requests for the delivery to be made in instalments an additional fee may be required.
Please note that we cannot take responsibility for any failure on the part of any courier or delivery service used to deliver goods, nor can we accept any consequential loss incurred by the customer by any action or inaction on the part of Ayton Print.
You must examine all Goods delivered at the time of their arrival.
We do our best to deliver all orders within estimated time but it is possible that your order may be delayed due to: errors in printing or at the finishing stage, damage in packing or misdelivery.
By placing an order with us you are aware of the fact that this may happen and you may need to wait untill your order is re-printed - that usually takes half a time of standard turnaround unless it's due to misdelivery.
You have a right to cancel an order as long as the print process has not started.
Cancellation fee is £10 and it covers admin charges, artwork verification and proof preparation. It is non refundable.
No liability can be accepted by us for errors, grammar, spelling or omissions made on artwork approved to print by customer.
If the order arrives damaged, or there is any misprint or any other error compared with the final Proof, it is necessary to inform us about this fact within 10 days from delivery.
We reserve a right to ask you for samples of delivered Goods before we could offer any help. If on sight of samples we decide it's our fault we could offer re-print, partial refund or full refund depending on the error.
We do our best to avoid such a mistakes but they may happen and as long as the Goods are useable we won't offer free re-print or full refund.
Claims received later than 10 after delivery day might be rejected.
All sales are final since we customise each order according to your request. We give no refunds or credit but if we verify that we made an error, we will re-print your order.
Proofs prior to payment received.
In the event that we produce proofs for you before receiving payment for the job and you then decide not to go ahead with the printing order, a charge will be made for time spend producing your proofs at a rate of £15.00 per hour. To give an example of these charges -
A5 double sided flyer - full colour. Approximate studio time - 4 hours plus alterations and amendments.
The Customer shall be responsible for obtaining all necessary authorities and consents to reproduce (non-exhaustively) artwork, photographs, copyright text and the like (“Materials”) prior to instructing Us to reproduce the same. The Customer shall indemnify and hold us blameless against all demands, actions, costs, expenses (including but not limited to legal costs and disbursements), losses and damages arising from or suffered or incurred by reason of any claim (including but not limited to the defence of such claim) that that the reproduction of the materials by us infringes the intellectual property or other rights of any third party or misuses the confidential information of a third party.
All design Work commissioned or ordered by the Customer and originated by Us shall, as to its material elements and as to the copyright or design right in relation to it, belong to Ayton Print.
The Customer shall not have any right to reproduce or authorise any other person to reproduce any such design work in whole or in part or do any act which would, in the absence of written authorisation by Ayton Print, infringe any copyright or design right which may subsist in relation to any such design Work.
These Terms and Conditions and all other express and implied terms of the contract shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and the parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Your Statutory Rights are not affected and we deliver an absolute No Prejudice practice when dealing with customer queries, returns, exchanges and refunds.
